Bowling Green Presbyterians are a people of God in the world, called together by the Holy Spirit through the Scripture to be servants of God and all the people of God.
Who are we and what do we affirm in life together?
•We are guided by God who is revealed in the Scripture;
•We are part of the Reformed tradition of faith and the Presbyterian Church USA;
•We affirm that the Holy Spirit enables people of all races, classes, and nations to accept the goods news of what God has done in the world, repent of their sins, and enter the community of faith;
•We believe that the church is not a fellowship of perfect people, but people who are growing in the new life of trust and faith;
•We are convinced that God still calls people into the church and gives diverse gifts to believers that they are to use to embody the gospel of Christ in the world;
•We acknowledge that the diversity of the church causes tensions and conflict yet we are bound to one another in the one body of Christ.
